We Did It!
So it's finally done! We finally tied the knot!
Ryan and I are so happy to be married, and we are even more thrilled that we got to share the day with so many of our family and friends. It meant so much to us that so many people were willing to travel to be with us for that weekend.
Highlights for me were:
Ryan and I are so happy to be married, and we are even more thrilled that we got to share the day with so many of our family and friends. It meant so much to us that so many people were willing to travel to be with us for that weekend.
Highlights for me were:
- Having Gene run out about 2 seconds before my parents were seated screaming, "Where Are the RINGGGSS!" and then proceeding to run into the parking lot.
- Walking with my dad down the aisle... I'm convinced the goofy look on my face dispelled any remaining expectations of Ryan getting an "elegant" wife.
- Wondering why it is that the bishop was wearing a yamika when he took off his pointy hat.
- Relief of actually get the ring on Ryan's finger... it was a bit tenuous there as I wondered if we'd have to resort to spitting on his hand to get the ring over his ginormous knuckles.
- Having the four cutest, most well behaved babies on the planet at my reception.
- Convincing a bunch of Ohioans to do the Cotton Eyed Joe to techno music.
- Having so many people there to celebrate with us.
Pictures from the photographer are now up. You can see the web proofs online at Mark Chen's website. You'll need my email address jennifer_chee AT yahoo DOT com (sorry, trying to minimize the spam) to access the photos. If you have any pictures from the wedding, we'd love to see what all of you photographers out there saw through your own lenses.
Again, thanks so much for making the weekend so special!
